Senior student bring your own device (BYOD)
We recognise that technology is an increasingly important part of an effective learning environment. BYOD has been introduced in all our senior classes to take advantage of the many benefits of students having their own personal device. To support the use of BYO devices in our senior classes the school has a loan program for those students who do not have access to a laptop.
For more information visit the technology page.
Senior study rooms in the library
Study rooms are furnished to suit quiet individual and group study. Senior students can access the rooms during study periods and in their breaks. Teacher support is on hand to help students reach their study goals.
A curriculum mapped resource with video lessons, quizzes and exam practice for students preparing for Year 12 exams. All Year 11 and Year 12 students have a free Edrolo account giving them access to experienced teachers on any device. Students can use Edrolo to reinforce their understanding, get ready for exams, come to class more prepared, or even catch up if away from school.
Senior students have access to a variety of tech tools to help them work productively and stay organised.
Life Ready Program
Life ready is a mandatory 25-hour course designed to prepare and support senior students as they encounter situations related to health and safety as they become more independent and gain more responsibilities. It focuses on offering opportunities for students to build the functional knowledge and skills for life post school.
