Year 7 students whose parents wish them to take part in SRE will have completed a form requesting that they participate in SRE activities. Any student whose parents have not provided such a note will not participate in SRE activities.
Year 7 students who have elected to participate in SRE lessons will be withdrawn from normal classes one day each week on a rotation. The content and scope and sequence of these lessons can be found here.
Students in Year 8 to 11 who have elected to participate in SRE will attend seminars presented twice a term. These seminars will be coordinated by Lysander Lawrence. The content being delivered during these seminars can be found at srelakemac.com/curriculum.
Students who are not participating in SRE will remain in their normal time tabled class. No new work will be delivered during the lessons that students participating in SRE have been withdrawn from.
