Communication

Compass Parent Portal

Our platform for communication with parents is now Compass.  Compass is an online platform which allows parents and carers to access up-to-date information about our school and your child's progress.

Parents/Carers can use Compass to

  • Monitor your child's attendance and enter an explanation for absence or lateness
  • Read our school's news items
  • View your child's timetable and the school calendar
  • View and download academic reports (from Semester 1, 2024)
  • Book parent-teacher conferences
  • Pay and provide consent for events and school fees

Compass is accessed through an online parent portal or by using the Compass School Manager Mobile App. To log in you will require your unique username and password.  These details are provided by the school.

The app is available from the Apple App Store for iPone or from Google Play Store for Android.

If you are having difficulties, please make use of the Compass help guide or FAQ.  You can also call the school on 02 4992 3022.

Year Advisers

Year advisers are the first contact for parents and students. They are available to assist the students in their year group with problems or concerns and will seek the appropriate support required. The year adviser also assists students with the selection of subjects and concerns with study. Students are encouraged to ask for help from the year adviser with any issues they may have.

Year 7 - Daniel Allen

Year 8 - Vanessa van de Scheur

Year 9 - Tina Wheeler

Year 10 - Kayla Campbell

Year 11 - Louise Knight

Year 12 - Mandy Wilson

Contacting teachers

The best procedure is to email or ring the school and ask for a scheduled phone call or personal interview. If the office staff cannot arrange this immediately the teacher will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time for further discussion.  The school is committed to working in a partnership with parents and carers to achieve the best educational outcomes for students. Teachers are always pleased to discuss issues parents wish to raise and will often initiate that dialogue.
