P&C Meetings

Dates: Week 3 and Week 7 each term

Time: 5pm in the library

Join our friendly P&C.

Meetings are held in Week 3 and 7 each term.

Parents and carers are welcome to attend.

NAIDOC Assembly

Date: Tuesday 23 June, 2026

Time: 2:25pm (Period 6)

Parent Teacher Night

Date: Thursday 23 July (Week 1, Term 3)

Time: 4-6pm in the MPC

Valuable conversations with teachers about your child’s progress.

Education Week Assembly

Date: Thursday 6 August (Week 3, Term 3)

Time: 4:30 - 6pm in the MPC.

Try a High School Day

Date: Tuesday 1 September, 2026

Try a High School Day is designed as a fun introduction to the high school environment (for Year 6 entering Year 7 2027).

Parent Orientation Evening

Date: Tuesday 27 October, 2026

An information evening for parents and carers to find out more about the school and to meet key staff members who will support Year 7 in 2027.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student Transition Days

Dates: Tuesday 27 October, Tuesday 10 November

Students will participate in a number of mini ‘taster’ lessons and cultural activities at Dungog High School.

Orientation Day

Date: Tuesday 1 December, 2026

An important opportunity for incoming Year 7 students to explore the school, find out about classes and subjects, learn about school processes, and meet staff, peer mentors and fellow students.
